Question 1: The pastors and elders in the religious world are all people who serve God in the churches. By rights, in the second coming of the Lord, they ought to be more alert and taking things seriously. Answer: This question doesn’t strike as strange. When the Lord Jesus came to do His work, He faced wild opposition and condemnation even from the religious world, the Pharisees, chief priests and scribes. He was crucified by them in the end. That’s historically true. We should all think about this. Why was the Lord Jesus crucified by the religious world? If we can understand the reasoning for that, it’s easy to see why in the last days Almighty God is re-crucified by the religious world.
