Answer: Does the saying “outside the Bible there is no God’s word and any belief beyond the Bible is a heresy,” accord with the fact or not? All those who are familiar with the Bible know that in the compilation of the Bible, because of the compilers’ disagreement and omission, some of God’s words conveyed through the prophets were not included in the Old Testament. This is a generally acknowledged fact. How can we say that outside the Bible there are no God’s work and word? Aren’t those omitted prophecies of the prophets God’s words? The Lord Jesus said more words than those in the New Testament. In fact, most of His words are not recorded in the Bible. The Lord Jesus had worked for three and a half years, and He said countless words and gave many sermons.

Question 2: Since you testify the Eastern Lightning is the true way, how can you prove that? Our faith in the Lord Jesus is because the Lord Jesus can redeem us all. What proof do you have to show that the Eastern Lightning is the true way?

Answer: On this point, let’s read two passages of Almighty God’s words and see what Almighty God says. Almighty God says, “What is the most basic principle in seeking the true way? You have to look at whether or not there is the work of the Holy Spirit, whether or not these words are the expression of the truth, who is testified to, and what it can bring you” (“Only Those Who Know God and His Work Can Satisfy God” in The Word Appears in the Flesh).

“To study such a thing is not difficult, but requires each of us to know this truth: He who is God’s incarnation shall hold the substance of God, and He who is God’s incarnation shall hold the expression of God. Since God becomes flesh, He shall bring forth the work He must do, and since God becomes flesh, He shall express what He is, and shall be able to bring the truth to man, bestow life upon man, and show man the way. Flesh that does not contain the substance of God is surely not the incarnate God; of this there is no doubt. To investigate whether it is God’s incarnate flesh, man must determine this from the disposition He expresses and the words He speaks. Which is to say, whether or not it is God’s incarnate flesh, and whether or not it is the true way, must be judged from His substance. And so, in determining[a] whether it is the flesh of God incarnate, the key is to pay attention to His substance (His work, His words, His disposition, and many more), rather than external appearance” (Preface to The Word Appears in the Flesh).

Brothers and sisters, as long as it is the true way it is the work personally done by God. Since it is God’s own work, there will surely be expression of truth and the work of the Holy Spirit. We have witnessed that the Eastern Lightning is the true way and that Almighty God is God incarnate precisely because Almighty God has expressed many aspects of the truth and performed the work to judge and cleanse mankind, fulfilling God’s work plan to cleanse and save mankind in the last days.

Almighty God says, “when God becomes flesh this time, His work is to express His disposition, primarily through chastisement and judgment. Using this as the foundation, He brings more truth to man, shows more ways of practice, and so achieves His objective of conquering man and saving man from his corrupt disposition. “Through this work of judgment and chastisement, man will fully come to know the filthy and corrupt substance within him, and he will be able to completely change and become clean. Only in this way can man be worthy to return before the throne of God. All the work done this day is so that man can be made clean and be changed; through judgment and chastisement by the word, as well as refinement, man can cast away his corruption and be made pure. Almighty God expresses all truths required for man to achieve knowledge of God and salvation, and opens up all the mysteries of God’s management plan to mankind. For instance, the aim of God’s 6,000-year management plan, God’s working principles, the inside story of His three-stage work, the mystery and meaning of God becoming flesh, how mankind has developed to today, mankind’s future destination, the truth of the Bible, and the meaning of God’s names, and so forth, these are all mysteries that mankind cannot fathom. The word of Almighty God fully exposes mankind’s corrupt essence and the root of their corruption. Thus, man has true knowledge of their own corrupt ugliness such as arrogance, selfishness, and despicable nature amid the severe judgment of God’s words. And man understands the truth, has true understanding of God’s righteous disposition, and develops a heart that reveres God. Their life disposition has all changed to different extents, and they gradually break away from the depraved situation of sinning in the day and confessing at night. This completely proves that Almighty God’s work is the true way, and that Almighty God’s word is the truth, the way, and the life, full of authority and power, and can thoroughly cleanse and save man. Otherwise, apart from God, who can help man break free from the bondage of sin? Apart from God, who can open up the mysteries that God has hidden for thousands of years?

Only God is the truth, the way, and the life. Only God can bestow upon man the way of eternal life. Only by accepting the truths expressed by Christ of the last days can we gain eternal salvation. Let’s again take a look at Almighty God’s word.

Almighty God says, “God Himself is life, and the truth, and His life and truth coexist. Those who are incapable of gaining the truth shall never gain life. Without the guidance, support, and provision of the truth, you shall only gain letters, doctrines, and, moreover, death. God’s life is ever-present, and His truth and life coexist. If you cannot find the source of truth, then you will not gain the nourishment of life; if you cannot gain the provision of life, then you will surely have no truth, and so apart from imaginations and conceptions, the entirety of your body shall be nothing but flesh, your stinking flesh. Know that the words of books do not count as life, the records of history cannot be feted as the truth, and the doctrines of the past cannot serve as an account of words presently spoken by God. “Christ of the last days brings life, and brings the enduring and everlasting way of truth. This truth is the path through which man shall gain life, and the only path by which man shall know God and be approved by God. If you do not seek the way of life provided by Christ of the last days, then you shall never gain the approval of Jesus, and shall never be qualified to enter the gate of the kingdom of heaven, for you are both a puppet and prisoner of history. Those who are controlled by regulations, by letters, and shackled by history will never be able to gain life, and will never be able to gain the perpetual way of life. That is because all they have is turbid water that has lain stagnant for thousands of years, instead of the water of life that flows from the throne. The words and work of Almighty God are the salvation God bestows upon mankind in the last days, the only path to God’s salvation for mankind in the last days. The Bible says that what comes from God shall increase and what comes from man shall decrease. It has now only been over 20 short years since Almighty God commenced His work. Despite the furious resistance and suppression of the evil CCP and the entire religious world, God’s kingdom gospel has been spreading like an unstoppable surging wave. It has now not only spread across all of Mainland China but many countries around the world. It is now comprehensively expanding to all countries and regions. More and more people who hunger for God’s appearance have all come to the house of Almighty God one after another. The fact that Almighty God’s kingdom gospel has rapidly spread to all of mankind despite repeated oppression is an iron-clad proof of the work of the Holy Spirit, fully proving that “What comes from God shall increase,” and also testifying to mankind: Almighty God is the second coming of the Lord Jesus, and the Eastern Lightning is the true way.
